Before Xmas I had a photo shot on my s1 Rs turbo from a very well known ford magazine,
Well this week I have had some calls from the magazine saying they are going to feature my Rs turbo ,, they know the car has been sold on now and still want it to go In the magazine , had the editor call again tonight and is calling Thursday for a full interview,
I will be be mentioning this site in the interview as I have had a lot of help and parts from very good people other the years , so if they put it in then that’s grate ,
This should be in the next edition, June I would have though but I will let know know when I do .
All the hard work may will have paid off ,
I am hoping they put a name in there from a mate that helped me paint the car in my little garage as well , and any other names I can think of that has helped me with parts ect a long the way ,,
I will agree with the first bit lol lol TBH you done a lovely job on it mate and hey we all like different things you liked it thats all that matters mate !!!!!!!!
I have come to the conclusion that old / classic cars just don't do it for me, Yes i love the look of them but when i drive them i just think no thats not for me lol i would NOT want to get back in another classic scoob now mate just to old and to slow by todays standards. By that i mean look at the work we both done and the cash we spent on them and your RS (your new one) would leave them for dead lol lol and in full comfort not a noisey harsh riding motor
I started off in Mexico's and have gone through all the rs models well nearly ,and yes it's true modern cars are just much faster.still love my older Ford's but would not go back if I could not keep my focus .you guys may think I'm mad but the worst rs I ever had was my cossie ,looked lovely but I never thought she was that fast and I hated the way she handled and the whale tale allowed no rear vision on the motorway .
